Citizen Oversight

This Act could create a citizen's panel comprised of holders of the Order of New Zealand, Justices of the Peace and other outstanding New Zealanders.

These trusted New Zealanders could meet twice a year to provide guidance to the Commissioner of Police on policing in New Zealand.
